SFDA issues test methods for acrylamide and other 10 prohibited or restricted substances in cosmetic products

In order to standardize the technical requirements for testing of prohibited or restricted substances in cosmetic products, and improve the hygiene, quality and safety of cosmetics, the test methods for acrylamide and other 10 prohibited or restricted substances in cosmetic products, adopted by the Cosmetic Standards Expert Committee of the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), were issued by SFDA on February 21, 2011.
